To us, Lagrenie is a luscious chunk of paradise. By law however, it is a company with a website, and while it as a company interacts with you, our visitor, it must comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). That is why we have prepared this privacy statement, so you know exactly how careful we handle the personal information you provide us with.

Personal data that we process

Lagrenie processes your personal data for the purpose of your reservation for (one of) our holiday homes. We only process data that you actively provide to us.

Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:

  • first and last name;
  • address details (not via the website);
  • telephone number;
  • e-mail address;
  • other personal data that you provide, for example in correspondence, either in writing or by telephone.

 

Special and / or sensitive personal data

Lagrenie only stores data for your reservation. Special or sensitive data is not part of that.

 

Personal data of minors

To reserve a house at Lagrenie you must be of age. For that reason, we do not collect any data from children under the age of 16, not even when they have the permission of their parents or guardian. However, we have no means to verify whether a website visitor is older than 16. If you believe that we have unjustly collected personal data from a minor, please contact us at lagreniegrolejac@gmail.com so that we may remove this information.

 

For wich purpose and on what basis do we process personal data

Lagrenie processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • confirming your reservation;
  • handling your payment;
  • communication by phone or e-mail if required in order to perform our services;
  • legal obligations such as tax returns.

 

Automated decision-making

Lagrenie never makes decisions based on automated processing of personal data. All communication and interaction between you and us is personal. The only technology used is faciliatory, such as telephone, Whatsapp or e-mail.

 

How long we keep personal data

Lagrenie does not store your personal data any longer than necessary. We keep personal data while your reservation with Lagrenie is pending. After that, when your financial obligation has been met, we will delete your data from our server.

 

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Lagrenie provides personal data to third parties only when required for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

 

Cookies and the use of similar techniques

Lagrenie does not use cookies, nor any other technology that may infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored by most websites on your computer, tablet or smartphone. They usually support the technical functioning of the website, or they remember your preferred settings, for example. Anyway, we do not use cookies, because we do not find them necessary.

 

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your previously granted permission for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Lagrenie. You also have the right to have your data transfered. This means that you can submit a request for us to send your personal data to you or to an organization of your choice.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to lagreniegrolejac@gmail.com.

To prevent us from sending your data to the wrong person or agency, we can ask for proof of your identity. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within four weeks.

How we protect personal data

Lagrenie is absolutely serious about the protection of your data. All communication between your browser and our website is protected by certified encryption (ssl over https). To minimize the chance of data misuse as a result of hacking, we periodically remove and destroy all personal data from our web server.
